Cave of Darkness is a retro-style, pixel-based action RPG that blends classic dungeon crawling, character progression, and an evolving story. Inspired by early role-playing games, vintage fantasy films, and the spirit of adventure, this game invites you to descend into a cursed cavern — and return... if you can.

📜 The Story

You arrive at a quiet village shrouded in fear. Kobolds have been spotted — an ominous sign of darker forces at work. The villagers whisper of a cursed cave, and you're the only one brave (or foolish) enough to enter. What begins as a simple investigation unravels into a journey filled with monsters, magic, and ancient secrets.

As you descend through 8 deadly levels, you’ll collect gear, learn spells, solve riddles, encounter strange beings, and decide how to shape your destiny. Will you banish the darkness? Or will the cave claim yet another soul?
